Blue Bird House & Tree Swallow Nest

A couple years ago, Brian made us several Blue Bird Houses…

From April 2017

So far, the Tree Swallows have been using the Houses… they arrive here before the Blue Birds and get first dibs!!

Now that the snow is gone (again), we cleaned out the Houses so they can be used this year…. and, one set of parents abandoned their nest and eggs last year!

Look HOO Was Hanging Out at Redtail Rise….

In the Spring of 2014, we saw a nesting pair of Great Horned Owls here. We never found the nest, but we did see the juvenile in July…

Robins at Redtail Rise

Last Fall, the robins were here by the dozens, chowing down on our apples. They ate them all! And, maybe even got a bit “punch-drunk” on them – seems the apples turned to cider on the trees (fermented a bit). 🤣
