One day in June, Aengus was quite insistent that something was “on his turf” (meaning he wouldn’t stop barking 😆), but he wouldn’t leave the security of the barns. I went out to check what he saw… then went back to grab the Nikon!
A beautiful Golden Eagle was on the Starve Pasture Fence!

And I am so pleased we bought the Nikon Camera with the big zoom lens! I was a fair ways away for these photos!




I decided to move closer, but Aengus took it as a cue to “flush the bird”😆 …
